Hi, I’m Di—founder of Strengthology Shift, and I know exactly how you feel because I’ve been where you are.
I’m a 45 year-old mother of three boys, so I understand the challenges of juggling work, family, and everything else life throws at you. Like many women, I used to feel stuck in a body I didn’t recognise. I tried everything—diet fads, cardio classes, and quick fixes—but nothing seemed to stick.
It wasn’t until I discovered the magic of strength training that everything changed.
I stopped chasing unsustainable diets and started eating in a way that worked for my body (and yes, I still enjoy wine and chocolate).
I built strength and muscle that not only transformed my body but also improved my energy, confidence, and longevity.
Most importantly, I realised I didn’t have to sacrifice my time, joy, or favourite foods to get results.

No fad diets, no “rules”. We show you how you can go out for dinner, to work events and on holiday while still reaching your fat loss goals. We teach you tips and tricks to make this a doddle - like saving calories up for the weekend so you don’t feel deprived.

Building lean muscle is the key to shredding menopausal weight gain. Nothing changes your body like strength training. Not Yoga, Pilates, running or Zumba. Never lifted weights before? We will show you how. You just need a set of dumbbells for your short home workouts.

We are not looking for radical changes to your diet, just minor tweaks like increasing your protein intake and reducing your portion size.
We also very much believe in including treats (wine, chocolate, crisps) as we are looking for sustainable long term behaviour change; and quite frankly, life should have some cake in it 😀
We teach you everything you need to know about lifting weights and gaining lean muscle - which is the KEY to looking and feeling your best over 40.
Good old-fashioned walking is completely underrated for fat loss. Your step count COUNTS. You’ll burn more calories from walking more across the week than your 2 workouts. We show you how to sneak in a few more steps during your day without you even noticing.
Individualised calorie and protein goals with detailed guides on how to track your calories with no hassle. We want this to be the last diet you ever do.
Support and guidance via text, audio and video. You’ll have direct access to your female coach in her 40s who provides expert advice on everything from nutrition and exercise to mental strategies, helping you to avoid common mistakes and make faster progress.
Tailored weekly check-ins provide a chance for you to get the support, feedback, and encouragement you need to stay consistent and motivated throughout your fitness journey.
We don’t rely solely on the scale. We also use tape measurements and progress photos to accurately track your progress.

We will hold you to account but we totally understand that life gets in the way sometimes so you can’t always be 100% with your diet and exercise. We aren’t either! We are looking for imperfect action and overall consistency - never perfection.
We don’t like sweaty gyms with loads of mirrors either. All your workouts are done in your own home with follow along video sessions. All you need is a set of dumbbells. A 3kg or 5kg set is the perfect start.
